Even though there were other families in the second ac compartment the section where she was sitting was empty but for her thoughts and the shoulder bag which she had dropped to the seat right next to her. The barren fields on both sides of the train seemed to depict an emptiness inside her heart. She almost felt like laughing out loud at the parallels which she was drawing even from the scenery around her. Travelling somehow always seemed to soothe her nerves and change her perspective like nothing else could. She was not exactly sure why but any journey to a new place always seemed to be exciting no matter how bleak her mind was at that time. She was not exactly sure how to explain the feeling of freedom which travelling used to give her. The main reason could be the endless possibilities of experiences, relationships or opportunities which a new place could throw one’s way. Or it could be because it somehow establishes the fact that the journey is not yet over until and unless you decide to stay put. The destiny and destination can change no matter how late the hour or how hopeless the journey seems to be, if only you would be ready to pack your bags and start on the journey. Whatever the reason, the hope never dies and hence tomorrow never dies. Read on »

Rise up and walk!

Jesus heals the paralytic man in Mark 2: 1- 12 is a really familiar passage which we have heard and read too many times. The faith of the 4 friends who took the paralyticto Jesus is an oft repeated story. But the Bible surprises you on the depth and relevation the same incident can have as you listen and read it each time. The message during today’s carecell was quite thought provoking.
